Don't get me wrong, I love the polished and posed shots. The carefully coordinated outfits and the pretty details. But the best images you will get of yourself and your partner are those where you let go and invite a photographer into your life in the most authentic way you can. Did we still get posed shots? Absolutely. But we also just hung out, talked, and played in the lake and I'm beyond proud of these photos. I think it's super important to find a location or activity that fits your personalities because that's when you'll be the most comfortable in front of the camera. And let's face it, no one is super comfortable in front of the camera. So why not make it as easy as possible? AND FUN. I'm totally here for more shoots that let us just wander.
